Honda workers set to return as furlough agreement comes to a end.

Honda workers in Swindon Wiltshire have been given notice to return back to work after furlough agreement ends. The Honda factory workers will be returning back to work on the 8th June in small fazes and some even returning back to work on the 10th June after a having more than ten weeks off due to coronovirus shutdown.

With heavy restrictions in place followed by the government guidelines and in numerous talks with Unite union. A new one way systems in place and the early shift finishing a hour earlier than normal allowing minimum social distancing measure to be put in place.

As well as full ppe being provided including facemasks, safety glasses and temperature checks being set in place this gives the workers extra safety measure to help put some assciates minds at rest.

The company wanted to reassure that the safety of associates is their primary concern and that HUM is following government and NHS guidlines.
