Sporting Season

Its been a long time since any sport was on due to the coronavirus lockdown, and I like many is missing the team they support or the sport that they watch. It was the talking point for communities something to natter about with your mates over a beer or two.

Bath city vs Supermarine

June the 17th couldn't come quick enough for some as the premier league starts back up. behind closed doors. But this is now looking a little more positive, a way forward even for the smaller lower league clubs and grass root sports it could be a glimpse of hope to open up the doors for our communities to rekindle that community spirt.

For non league clubs this will be the hope that they are looking for, the clubs like most rely on the volunteers that help each week through out the season, and for the volunteers this could be a life line of having that little peace of independance.

For me its the love of photography, its the passion! the quick movement! the love of the game the energy! the true grit and determination that you can see in the players eyes that fire in their souls the burning desire to win and the community spirt.

For some clubs up and down the country its a strong need for the doors to open sooner rather than later, the paying of bills doesn't stop the need of desperate finances wait with anticipation for the clubs to open.

As we wait though its that time of the year where clubs should be bringing in new fresh talent and the signing of new players but unfortunately letting some go. Building that team spirt letting the new players bond playing the friendly fixtures and trying different formations and new ideas.

Its just a matter of time before the doors open again and i for one will be back hearing the chants of supporters, the buzz of the crowds the oooooooo's! and the ahhhhhh's! as the balls hit the cross bars, the smells of the burger bar the get together, the spirt of them game but for some it's just a game.
